I have installed CCK and am trying to configure a custom content-type.

I can create new fields and groups, but the fields will not relate/attach to a new content type.

Although no errors are thrown, I can view existing fields and attempt to add them to a content type. Then when viewing the manage fields tab, no fields are displayed.

Adding groups does work, but not fields.

Also the Display Fields tab is completely blank.

I am having the exact same problem on Drupal 5 using the 5.x-1.5 release. Adding a field results in the following message:

* Added field field_imageurl.
* There are no fields configured for this content type.

Adding a group works, but adding a field to that group results in the same problem.

I don't think you can expect a solution for 4.7. i'm fairly certain this is fixed in 5.x and 6.x
