Is this module based on the annotate module example in Pro Drupal Development? If so, please mention this and link to the book's site. If not... can you update the project page clarifying this? Thanks.

kermitus commentedYes, my Annotate Module was inspired by the example module in the book "Pro Drupal Development". As a matter of fact the actual demo is the example from the book. And I thank you for reminding me to post that info in my release notes. I defiantly believe in giving credit to where its deserved. However I do wish to add, once my Annotate module is finished, it will be completely differant than the example module from the book, but it does not mean I won't give the authors of "Pro Drupal Development" respect and the credit for creating the foundation of what could be a great module.
So I will add this to my release notes, and provide a link to where the book "Pro Drupal Development" can be purchased. And I will say as well, it's a GREAT book, all that are thinking about developing for Drupal, or already are should check out this book. Its certainly worth it.
Thanks again,
Corwin

pfisher commentedI found this thread trying to learn why the annotate module I created from following explicit directions from the book did not work right.
Follow this link to see errors in the module example text in Chapter 2 of the Pro Drupal Development 2nd Edition for drupal 6.x
