Yeah, go ahead with 5.1, in the next few days (let's say 5-10 to be on the safe side), I plan on releasing 5.1!

Hi. Just want to say this module sounds fantastic. Even if you were to just have a system that integrated the user login and registration process with the SalesForce data, that would awesome.

All the sites I build now are 5.1 I work with non-profits and am really only just beginning to become familiar with CRM systems, but after research I think SalesForce looks like the best option, even though it's not directly built for non-profit stuff. I don't yet have any clear idea of what kind of integration requirements there will be for this site, but I may be able to get some funding for the effort from one of my clients if that would help keep this project moving. You can contact me through drupal if you want.

We're CiviCRM proponents being dragged into Salesforce by a client who is using the free-for-nonprofits licenses. To try to bring them into all the way into the world of free software as in freedom, we're very interested in that step on the to-do list "integrate with other CRM integration modules"!

Already this module coming to 5 just when we need it looks to make our experiment with Salesforce a joy rather than a chore. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay, Bernardo and others.
The site we are using this module for is now in the throes of a graphic design (a.k.a custom theme) rewrite, with all that this implies.
However, in another week or two, we most definitely should have the legacy version running in 5.1 and posted as a downloadable module.
Then we need to discuss use cases!

No-one is posting any use-cases here.

We need a discussion on that, I hope someone will open that issue, or point me to a group where we can discuss it.

Hi there,

I'm also very interested in the further development of this module and would like to contribute. Unfortunatelly I can't code PHP but maybe there are other problems to solve. Should we found a new group or use an existing one for further discussion:
http://groups.drupal.org/crm-api
http://groups.drupal.org/enterprise-crm-integration

Really looking forward to testing your module on Drupal 5.
