Very helpful
Thank you very much. Your information was very helpful, though I'm still having problems with the configuration of my the subsites. I can't access them so far. Do you happen to know how can you access a subsite in order to add new contents to them ?
Sub sites
Did you make sure that your site domains (or subdomains or folders) point to the main domain. This is done through symlinks. Once you have those symlinks set up, you'll be able to access the subsites.

Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot for your information. Now I now I might look stupid but even though I'm not experienced at all in Drupal and stuff related to it I have a multisite project to finish. So if you could give me an idea on how to create these symlinks , I would be very greatfull to you. Thanks again very much.
Not a problem
You can find more information on symlinks here: http://drupal.org/node/125539
I'm giving you the link, rather than telling you how here, because you may find your web host doesn't allow you to do symlinks the way I list in the above instructions. But down below in the comments are some other ways of doing it.
