Could there be an option for the generated thumbnail to have a nice filename.

  • PDF filename: 2011-newsletter-19.pdf
  • PDF thumbnail: 4e732ced3463d06de0ca9a15b6153677.jpg (yuk!)
  • Nice thumbail: 2011-newsletter-19.jpg

Hello @iantresman, I've add a setting on admin/settings/pdfpreview and now you can select the hashed filename or a filename wich is based on fid-pdf_filename.jpg.

If you use transliteration, you can control how some chars are managed.
