About a month ago I was looking into e-commerce solutions for my site, and decided to go with Ubercart for the following reasons:

- The E-Commerce module did not have a reusable coupon function

- There is no generic credit card payment module that does not go through a gateway. I just needed a payment module to take down a credit card, validate it as a real number, send it to me to manually process payment.

Now that there's a reusable coupons for the E-Commerce module, I'm thinking of going back to E-Commerce due to the lack of sales reports in Ubercart. What I'm wondering is:

1) How would I write my own payment gateway for my credit card merchant? I heard from them they CAN take online orders now.

2) Any sales report functions in the E-Commerce module now? Would I be able to track, say, the percentage of orders that used coupons?

Thank you!!

Somewhat unrelated, but have you checked out Google Analytics e-commerce integration? Are the reports they provide not what you're looking for?

Reports will come sooner or later, so I'm curious what sort of reports you'd require. It may be good for me to establish a reporting API so modules like Blake's coupon module could hook into report generation...
