My first big Drupal site is up:
I'd welcome some comments. There's a huge amount of customisation - I hope I'll never need to upgrade it.
Thanks
Ian

Verrrry nice piece of work,
Verrrry nice piece of work, and fast too!! Me being a bit obsessed by speed on Drupal sites, I was wondering if you'd share with us what kind of server environment your site is running in.

Server Environment
Thanks for looking - nice to hear that folks like it!
It's just running on a fairly old Celeron server that's hosting about 20 sites (only 3 of them Drupal).
I'm still concerned about speed as for the large sections (with all the previews) every product is loaded into a 'hidden' div. I suppose I should have done some fancy AJAX dynamic update but I'm not up to speed on that sort of thing yet (if ever).
Hey matey very nice website,
Hey matey
very nice website, and you local-ish!
There seems to be a few issues with the Contacting Us button's rollover not showing up for me, and the Back and Home button's rollovers.
But apart from that, excellent job.
Just out of interest, what "stock" modules did you use?
Cheers
Modules
Hi there - thanks for the review.
Apart from the default set of modules there's CCK, Ecommerce (though I had to hack at store and cart) and Flexicharge (which I also hacked).
I couldn't use the standard tax module as I needed specific 'with tax' price points so had to back calculate the pre-tax prices.
I've still got to code a bulk purchase discount based around specific price points - i.e. buy any four 6.95 puzzles for 25.00 etc... I'm trying to do that with another flexicharge hack.
Thanks again
Ian
