I removed the following from the README.txt:

Things to do / Known problems
-----------------------------
The module should be configurable in how hard it tries to check. There
could be three levels:
1) disabled
2) only check the host part (fast and easy)
3) check the whole address (more thorough but tricky)

This belongs in the issue queue.

Due to Drupal 6's EOL, I am closing this with "won't fix." If you feel this is still valid for any of the 7.x branches, feel free to re-open and update this issue.
