I have the User profile template overridden in Page manager/Panels, is there a way to access the "Masquerade as [username]" link via adding content in panels?

Maybe with views in 8, we could add support for making a mini view that could use the context of the user profile to show offer a link option in a panel.

Another option is the new masquerade_float_block module

That module extend masquerade module. It makes the masquerade block float over any Panels.
