For some reason I am not able to make a simple view that lets me edit the titles of a node entity in D7 . Maybe Im missing something but there is no way to change the formatter.....

Sorry but that is a different problem, this also affects things like postdate, this is not a case where the field will not save, this is a case where we cannot get a field to appear.

In case this necro-post helps anyone avoid confusion, node titles are not fields, and thus don't have formatting options.
