Authenticated/anonymous user counter: Support for alternative session handlers

The current implementation as copied from the "Who's is online" block support only the native database session handling. If you use alternative handlers, e. g. memcache, the functionality is broken. I propose therefore just using the session api and encapsulating the the implementation (good OOP design, i. e. the sess_count() function should deal with the rest.
