Problem/Motivation

Users have requested views integration for forena, largely because views provide an ad hoc query mechanism, but forena provides better separation/reuse of look and feel.

Proposed resolution

The idea would be to create a views integration plugin that would allow Forena to be used as a templating engine for views. We sould expect that this would be a "page type" that would have a confiugration item allowing you to select a particular forena report to be used to format a view. This would allow users to take advantage of powerful js integration and master detail reporting based on data within views.

I've created, committed and pushed a views 3 style plugin that will allow you to render views fields using forena. Thie with insert view functions or other forena reports would be very helpful in producing markup that is challenging for views to produce.

How to make forena reports available for views so that i can use even filters and exposed filters and sorting with the same, coz as per video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shAVqLPEPYI, we can use forena only to display content of external data as a table, but am looking forward how we can make filters, exposed filters, relationships and sort with forena or available of forena report with views to do all stuff.. No idea whether am expecting much from forena or i have not explored forena that all facilities available already.. :)
