If you select a category (when using the category module) which is a distant parent of another category in a different container then this distant "child" category will only be shown in that container.

However if that category was assigned as a free tagging category then this automatic selection would not be enabled. All "child" categories will be shown in their container (whether something has been selected or not). So is it possible to enable ActiveSelect for Free Tagging categories too? Could you suggest a way to code it inside your module? Or maybe suggest an idea for the category module? (I have already asked the guys from the category module few months ago but no success yet)

This version of Active Select is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
