Hi,
I have had to disable the location module on two of my multilingual sites because they became extremely slow. As soon as I disabled the location module, the site loads extremely quick. Any idea whats going on? It looks like its running through all the strings on the website on every page load

Please can you test which query take time with http://drupal.org/project/devel module? Do this test on a copy...
