Recently, I was hired to update SEOposition's contributed theme to Drupal 5.x. That theme is now available for download!

Basically, the entire theme has been rewritten from scratch: The XHTML and CSS are all brand new, there's a new navigation bar, improved typography, and the theme has been made wider. File sizes and loading times have been reduced significantly, and the theme is more search engine friendly than before. I've posted more details over on my website.

If you'd like to see the new theme in action, here's a demo site.

The theme can be downloaded from the official Drupal.org project page. Please note that the text on that page is out of date, the admin section fits perfectly in the new version :)

Nice work (http://blamcast.net/seodev/)
But, I'm confused. http://www.seoposition.com/ and http://blamcast.net/seodev/ are totally different designs (different drupal themes)

Yes, they are two different themes. I actually did some work on the new SEOposition.com site as well (coding, mostly), but that theme is not being contributed to Drupal at the moment.

one of the best themes for Drupal got better it seems, and looking to the demo page it loads pretty fast
but is it the same theme update that SEO position announced few months ago
http://www.seoposition.com/seoposition-com-reboot-finally.html
as 'reboot' on the screenshots the 'reboot' looks different
or there are 2 versions of the theme 'the classic' and the 'reboot'?

good work, thanks for sharing with the community

--- opps, while was writing this comment others asked the same question that i saw after i posted, so the reply to those is reply to mine as well :)

its a unintended repeat, ignore the question bit here

Hi ica,

as 'reboot' on the screenshots the 'reboot' looks different or there are 2 versions of the theme 'the classic' and the 'reboot'?

You're right in your assumption that there are actually 2 versions of the SEO Position theme, one the contributed one for Drupal currently (located here: http://drupal.org/project/SEOposition) and then the new, Web 2.0 looking theme we have on the live site at http://www.seoposition.com.

We are going to contribute this theme to Drupal as well but it'll have to be under a new name, not the "SEO Position" theme since it looks dramatically different.

Since we have tons of projects going on I kindly asked John to port this theme to Drupal today, so let's see what he says ;-)

Thanks
Brian

I must say that I love the current theme "reboot" of the SEO Company website, I have yet to find any other theme for Drupal that looks this great. I can't wait for the day that it gets contributed!

Thanks for your clarification Brain the 'rebooted' theme seems similar decency of look and I presume clear code on the Garland grade, I would put those themes on the top grade for Drupal and Zen and the aberdeen, SEOposition following them -imo

kudos to the code artist :)
