I'm quite happy to collaborate on either doune or this one or responsive_skeleton (which I created). The goal of responsive_skeleton is to be as close as possible to the original Skeleton boilerplate so it is effectively a clean port (and of course following the Drupal standard, especially for CSS, which required a lot of reformatting). If your goal is similar, then we should work together.
