Thanks for the patch. I plan on supporting both sort orders for this module. I don't think I will use comment goodness for that but will make sure that this functionality gets in there at some form or another.

This hasn't been added to the 7.x branch. I plan on not supporting different sort orders not comments goodness module but through comments bonus api. I will mark this as "not fixed" when that integration is finished. Thanks all for your patience.
