sites/all/libraries/jquery.cycle contains the required .js files (jquery.cycle.all.js jquery.cycle.all.min.js jquery.cycle.js jquery.cycle.lite.js). Yet, Slideshow Creator keeps saying that the jquery_plugin is missing, after several cache clear commands.

Install the module jquery_plugin.

Perhaps the word module was missing in the missing jquery_plugin error message. I can't tell now that the error is no longer flagged, thanks to your response.
