It seems perhaps that once I get to a certain number of modules then I get a white screen after turning on (saving) a module. If I refresh the page all is fine, but white screen again after next module turned on.

For anyone else who runs into this issue. I increased php memory to 128 and seems to fix issue :)

Awesome module!!

I can't say this is a fault of Module Filter nor the opposite. Every module utilizes memory, some more than others. Module Filter does have a decent amount of code but nothing extravagant. It also only touches the presentation of the page, submission is still done via core.

Glad you were able to lose the WSOD. :)
