This is another feature I think may be useful for some of us. I'd like to set a template but mark it as 'global', so all other users (or maybe a selection of users/roles) can access the template too.

Use case: An administrator predefines node templates which are usable by publishers, so they don't have to set them individually.

Hi Stephan,

Version 1.4 has been released to make this feature possible. Now there are three kinds of permissions: access node template, delete node template of others and share node template. With the last permission one can mark a node template as "shared" , and then it will appear in everyone's "my node template" list.
