Hey all.

I need a bad words filter with a twist. Rather than filtering out words that should not be included on the site, it should prevent the posting or modification of a node until the bad words are removed.

So say the user enters a rejected word in the title of the node. They hit the button to publish the node; the form should reload and an error message should display on the top of the form that says something similar to, "The automatic content review system has detected restricted language. Please correct your submission and try republishing."

There are plenty of filters that will restrict words and replace or remove them, but I need something that doesn't stops the submission prior to publishing. Is there anything similar out there? module that already does that?

If you allow that the abusers will start using pseudo curse words that everyone can understand..

They will just replace character with numbers until they beat your system

The same thing will happen with something that filters out curse words, too. I'm not looking for feedback on whether or not this is a good idea. I'm looking for ways that I can accomplish the requirements set forth by my client.

The spam module should let you do that. It's working for me - you can even tell it to auto-delete, if you want to. And you can set the filters as regular expressions, which saves large amounts of typing.

Based on the description on the project page, it doesn't seem quite right; I'll try it out, though, and report back.

PS. Word sensoring should be in core...

Hi Brad,

Is there any module which does this for Drupal 7. Also, Is there any module which is used to detect/restrict the spam/abusive images.
