Description

From reading your notes it seems this could be what I'm after.

I'm using the image module to upload images and then file them in to galleries. The only problems is I need to go further than that. Once in a particular gallery, selected from the drop down menu, I need to put them in to a sub category and create a menu that can find the image within both. Eg.

Upload image and select area (gallery), then be able to select a day for that area. This would allow users to find images in an area and then select particular images by day within that area.

Is this the module for me? Many thanks.

possibly. I'm not sure.
If you have a node for each "day" (I guess) , and you have a taxonomy for places (I guess), then you could use the taxonomy search module to find all the "day" nodes from a specific place (or whatever).... is that what you want?

That sounds about right, would that mean every node would have to be titled by 'day' for this to work. Eg. Every image put in to area 1 would need to be title Wednesday for this search to work when looking for images in area 1 created on Wednesday?

Thanks.

I'm not sure I follow you exactly, but I think the answer is yes.
Basically, you have a large number of nodes which are tagged. You would like to select one of them. This would mean a very large pull down menu. The taxonomy search module simply reduces the number of things in the pull down menu.

I'll give it a try. Would this be able to provide a menu based on the area eg. once within Area 1 a menu could show for days in the area? Thanks.

Right now, I think it builds a select box.... of course anything is possible, but it's not currently a dynamic menu....

Cheers
