I get the following errors when trying to save a custom entity with the latest release:

Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in entity_get_info() (line 7463 of /var/www/drupal_7x/includes/common.inc).

Recoverable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in metatag_metatags_cache_clear() (line 369 of /var/www/drupal_7x/sites/all/modules/contrib/metatag/metatag.module).

I disable the meta tag module and everything works without any errors.

any suggestions?

Dave just released alpha6, please test it out and let us know if the problem still exists.

Please test the latest -dev version, some recent changes should ensure this no longer happens.
