Hey Everyone,

The current Blogger Module for Drupal really sucks. But I'm not a module developer so I can't make it better myself. Instead of
complaining like I normally do, I would like to Sponsor Development of a Better Blogger Module, something that works along the lines of WordPress MU. I want to be able to build out a blog network, but I really don't feel like fiddling with a new system. I've made my bed with Drupal, now
I'm going to lie in it. I want the features and ease of WordPress (or any standard blog), where users can create and manage their own blogs, themes,
etc. But I would have ultimate control over everything including how much server space they can use, what themes they can use,
etc. As part of this project, I would like some new themes developed as well - maybe 4 or 5 (Variations). Or instead of
reinventing the wheel, how about simply Porting WordPress MU to Drupal?

i like the idea to give more blog feature in drupal but please read the purpose of blogger module before you write this post. the purpose of blogger module not to bring wordpress into drupal, instead display list of bloggers, that's why called as blogger module.

you may use better word in your post and read this again: http://drupal.org/node/35042/
cheers.

There are sound reasons for a Wordpress to Drupal port and sound reason for not. You might be interested in this discussion http://drupal.org/node/67779
