I love Drupal, and have used it for plenty of CMS projects, but its just not as good as Wordpress for blogging.
The links on the Wordpress' codex all use very old versions of wordpress. One of the posts was from 2005. Its odd that for all of the importing tools wordpress has, they wouldn't have one for a service as common as drupal.
Perhaps ...
... Wordpress feel that once you have tasted Drupal,
you would never want to switch over (or back) to Wordpress :)
I actually got so pissed off with v4.7 that I did switch to Wordpress.
3 weeks later, I was on Drupal version 5.x!!
