I have a running 4.7 site with thousands of nodes aggregated through aggregator2. I need to migrate the site to Drupal 5. Since aggregator2 ceased development, I would like to easily migrate to Leech, and then upgrade to Drupal 5.
I've read all the suggestions and they're not sufficient. I can't keep aggregator2 feeds and feed items and activate leech on those, as those will not work with Drupal 5. I can't just ignore all the nodes that already exist and start from fresh either.
I need an upgrade easy script, like the one provided on the Aggregation module (.install) to quickly migrate all nodes with their information to the Leech module with keeping dependencies and information in node. Just take the existing data and convert it. I know Leech doesn't create its own node types, but we can run this manually after Leech is set up with node_template and "Default leech news options".
I can only afford 50US$ for this task, if there's anybody willing to overtake this challenge, I believe that for the experienced Leech developer it shouldn't be a big task. Needless to say, I would be forever grateful.
Thanks,
Fili

fiLi, unfortunately it is a more expensive task also for a leech developer :) - I am kind of responding late here, I am sorry. There is a duplicate issue here: http://drupal.org/node/92986, I will mark the old issue duplicate though.

Thanks for replying.
How much would you do this for? how long do you think something like that would take?
How should I contact you about this?

The more basic question to ask yourself is probably if you really want to upgrade to leech. We are going to discontinue leech for Drupal 6 and move on to feedapi. Which is a cleaner and more extensible solution.
How many feeds and feed items do you need to migrate? What are the features you are using?
