Secure pages in non admin pages

Hi,

Everytime i load a page, i can see the https version loading and the url reads as https, but the coloring of the url in the left side side near the favicon, doesnt persist, though it starts out. It persists in the admin pages though. Is this because of some error in the way I have configured it? Any help would be greatly appreciated as the site has to be protected and all the pages need to be secure. Or is this the way it is supposed to behave?
