I have just downloaded and expanded the chatblock.module
throughout the code is text missing (random blank blank - 2 spaces)
If you see on the chatblock help page missing Icons, then you have this version.
it is most obvious in the icon replacement functions, but is eslewhere.

Yeah this module does not work in its current form. To be honest, I just don't have the time to work on it, and I have found the difficulties making it work cross-browser to be somewhat excessive. I don't know when it will work, but I will leave this issue open as a warning for others.

the idea of a lightweight chat system is great , but I understand we all run out of the mythical free time :-)
