Using AJAX method of polling for DrupalChat w/o nodejs and once in a while see double chat messages. Not sure how this double posting can be easily troubleshoot?

Does this only happen when you have multiple tabs in the same browser open? Thanks.

Yes, I did have multiple tabs open in the same browser (Chrome).
- Public Chatroom
- 1 Private Chat with another test account on FireFox
- 1 Private Chat with a remote colleague (undetermined browser)

I received 2 of the same message from my colleague within Chrome.

Just to clarify, I have seen it with multiple chat tabs open in a single browser session/tab. I do not have the chat loaded across different browser tabs.

I am unable to re-create this issue when using single tab. Are you still experiencing this problem? If yes, then could you please let me know the steps to re-create this issue?
