Description

Hi,

First of all, many thanks for this great module, it's a marvellous piece of idea and work!

Only thing I need is a clarification on the "term settings". I would have thought (from the module's help) that using these, I can set the fields for all subterms. For instance, if my taxonomy looks like this:

  • document
    • text document
    • worksheet
  • image file

then I would have thought that using document's term settings, I could assign the same fields that are assigned to document to all its children (i.e., text document and worksheet).

What exactly does it help me to see the ancestors of a term?

My hope was that I can click a checkbox "Assign assigned fields to all subterms"; then, even if in the future I add a subterm, all subterms would have the same fields as the original term.

Looking forward to any feedback,

Thanks,
Kaspar

Hi Kaspar,

the term settings work exactly the other way around, if you select the option for e.g. worksheet this term will carry all fields of document.

I'll try to include a checkbox for assigning fields to children in the next version.

Hi b,

Ah, I thought I was looking at it the wrong way ;-).

I'll try to include a checkbox for assigning fields to children in the next version.

Well, such a feature would be very much appreciated from my side! I'll be a happy beta-tester in case you need one.

Best,
Kaspar
