Multiple Fees?

Description
Could there be a feature which would allow the admin to set up multiple fees depending on the user role assigned at registration? For instance, if user A registers for a conference as a VIP Attendee, the fee would be higher than for user B who registers for the same conference only for the Trade Exhibits. Does this make sense?
More important to me would be to have the fee be a variable, based on the answers the user supplies in a registration form. This would be very important to me by Friday in fact.
Still new to Drupal, but the possibilities are wonderful for us non-profiteers!
