I've noticed a lot of recipes having a non-definite amount of a ingredient (i.e. - 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar). Currently, I've overcome the issue with only putting 1 value in by putting the largest value in and then adding a note next to the ingredient saying about.

I just wanted to know if others were interested in having that feature in this recipe module.

I can certainly create a patch for it, if we see enough usage for it. My idea for it, would be adding a column to the recipe_node_ingredient (maybe called something like quantity2) which is optional.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure even 1% of recipes might use this, but I'm not against thinking about it. You see a lot of things like "to taste" or "approx" as well, but I'm not convinced it should be anything but a note.
