Please add Binisaya or Cebuano language to localize.drupal.org (I did check at http://bit.ly/yHndlP that there is no existing issue for this language)

Binisaya Language is also called Cebuano language majority Spoken in Visayas and Mindanao Philippines which is estimated to have more than 60 Million population could speak and understand this language (Year 2012).

Though in Wikipedia it only shows around 20 Million million in the previous years but this language is keep on growing as majority of the people in the Philippines could speak the and understand the language http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cebuano_language

An active translation team of one of the biggest languages of the Philippines is very welcome :-) but "Binisaya" is not standardized and is not listed anywhere. "Cebuano" (ceb) on the other hand is. Moreover, generalizing bisaya can be a problem in the future with possible translation teams of other major Visayan languages such as Hiligaynon (hil) and Waray-waray (war). So can this translation team just be for the Cebuano language?

Do you already have a group of people who are interested in helping with the translations?
What is the plural formula for Cebuano?
Language name in English is "Cebuano" , is there a native language name?

Title: Add X Binisaya (Cebuano) to l.d.o » Add Cebuano to l.d.o

Seems that the original requester isn't interested anymore. Anybody interested in translating Drupal to Cebuano?

From wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cebuano_language

Cebuano is given the ISO 639-2 three letter code ceb, but has no ISO 639-1 two-letter code.
There are four main dialectal groups within Cebuano. They are: Boholano and Southern Kana, Northern Kana, Mindanao Cebuano, and Davaoeño.

Plural-Forms from: https://github.com/trevor/transmission/blob/master/po/ceb.po

@hass: and so? What does closing this request serve? Leaving it here at least provides a way for someone else to find like-minded people who were at least interested to contribute earlier. Hiding it away does not really help anything.
