Hi,
uid property with uid behavior of entities created with eck are shown as numerical uid values instaed of rendered user names.
Probably another field should be provided that shows the entity author username while keeping the existing field.
Same thing happens with created property of entities - shown as unix timestamp. I haven't tested changed property but probably its shown as unix timestamp too.

Using 'author' property you can load the entity owner in relationships and use it to get rendered user field.
created and changed fields are fixed in the latest dev version.
