I have noticed that the labels from the fields inside the field collection don't get displayed when viewing the actual node.

I have checked the Readme.txt file as well as the documentation and I can't find anything that say if further configuration is needed.

See attached screen-shot to see my collection field configuration.

I forgot to mention that I'm using field slideshow to displayed the collection and maybe the ticket should be assigned to the other module instead.

I have the same problem not using slideshow.

I'm using both 'field collection' and 'field group'. Also 'conditional field'.

I have a content type with quite a few fields. Some are under a 'Field collection'. But all are under 'field group'.

On the node edit/add form, I have my field collection, and my field group. The conditional field works fine there.

On the display node : I lose all labels for 'field group', all labels AND content for 'field collection'.
But I have all the other labels displayed even if the corresponding field is not filed.

The problem could come from the combination of both modules. I don't know. I will post an issue on 'field group', but I thought it wort mentioning the environment I'm working in.

I suck a lot to identify problems. So if any has been thru that behavior it would be nice.

Field group version : 7.x-1.1
Field collection version : 7.x-1.0-beta4
Conditional field version : 7.x-3.x-dev

It seems there is still work being done on field slideshow for supporting field collection.

I tried it myself and they didn't display at all. Your best bet is likely to try some of the patches from the field slideshow issue queue.
