feeling kinda dumb here going through the drupal handbook, searching here, and clicking around the site admin areas for about an hour now and not finding anything on this... I want to make a page visible ONLY to authorized users. Any way to do that? thanks!

There are a bunch of different access control modules available. I use TAC_Lite which uses a taxonomy to control who can see what.
