I'd be interested in hearing from someone with training experience to conduct about 4 days of intro to Drupal in a new 3-year community-based project which could lead to ongoing opportunities in the community sector in Victoria. This will be for about 8 people, all of whom have some general experience in web development, but not CMS. It is critical that you can explain Drupal in non-technical but intelligent language and work in a group setting.
At this time, we are putting in for funding, but--this is an opportunity at what we budget to be $80/hour. For some info. about the project, please see http://www.webstylus.net/?q=node/238 and http://www.webstylus.net/?q=node/233
If you are committed to open source and social change and relationship building this could be a very good opportunity.
If the training could include installation of Civicspace, even better. There is also interest in pod and vod elements
I am a Drupal user, but not a great technical trainer but can help form the training curriculum in consultation with a couple of other very savvy people.
Please email or ring me directly 03 9903 1801.
