Could "Nifty Corners" be implemented into Amadou to allow for rounded story / sticky post boxes? I think this would be a great addition to an already great theme.

Could be implemented if you would like to do that; I have no plans for that.
I welcome any reasonable modifications to the theme that you (or anyone) would like to submit for review.

I like the idea too. IgD, I would be glad to be a tester if you start updates of amadou with rounded corners.

Here is an example of a site design that I like that uses rounded corners heavily:

(Drupal.org design also has some nice use of rounded corners, but I guess that's all image-based?)
