The flexinode module is great and I love it so much I'd like to be able to use its field-creation capabilities in other node types as well. While at times I really need to create a node type from scratch, at other times I'd just like to add a flexinode field to an already existing, non flexinode node type. This would totally rock.

And if you wantto be part of this, and call yourself a PHP developer, you can have a look at the node type you want to have extended. Let me assume, blog. You can create a flexinode version of this, by removing type "node" from the module, and make it into a framework, so that any type can be made a "node". That way any flexinode (or any other type) can be placed into the blogs.
The idea is nearly similar to what the book does: You can make any type a book-page.
