A nice feature addition would be the ability to truncate the text using jquery (like this). This doesn't have much use case on teasers, but it does on full content, similar to how Facebook handles "see more" on long text entries on statuses (see attached image).

I agree that this would be e nice feature, but it is not in the scope of this module. The purpose of this module is simply to trim a text by word boundary, nothing more, nothing less.

The feature you've suggested would make perfect sense in a separate module, that might be created in the feature...
