Can I merge/intersect two views?

erict - June 30, 2007 - 15:50

Can I create a view that displays the union or intersection of two different views?
Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

Eric

Looks like adding multiple filters does the job...

Filters are good for doing intersections, but not unions because elements are ANDed and not ORed.

You can do some unions, for example you could list different node types by ommiting those node types you don't want and choosing all the others, but is not totally flexible (at least at this time).

You may also be interested in the ViewsFusion.module... It merges views as well. If I understand it correctly.

Panels using Views Panes

If you make use of a lot of views, you may think about looking into the Active Template module. It is currently only for D5 but it would seem people are interested in having it for D6 so we may able to get that updated in the next few weeks...
