Awesome module and I very much need it!... :)

Just found it today. 1) Does this work with Node content fields also, 2) Does it work with DS and if not, do I have to remove DS for it to work properly?, 3) or is it better to combine Rendering Elements and Field Group than w/DS (if it works with DS)?

Hey Vc Developer. Fieldgroup is working fine with display suite! Don't worry. It will work with any entity providing fields, for example nodes or users. Just try it out, you will see! Have fun.
