Hi,

The 5.x-2.2-beta flashvideo.module is installed on wamp. On the FlashVideo Settings page, I get the message :

FlashVideo has determined that you do not have FFMPEG installed on this machine. You can still use this module without FFMPEG, however server-side video conversions will not occur.

Could anyone tell me how to install FFMPEG on wamp ?

FFMPEG website = http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu/ you will find the documentation and the binaries that need to be compiled on your server. You will also be better served asking about FFMPEG on an FFMPEG specific website.

I spent hours trying to install FFMPEG on wamp 5 (version 1.7.2) running with Apache/2.2.4, PHP5.2.3 and MySQL 5.0.41-community-nt. Could anyone write a step by step procedure ?

My host had it pre compiled. For a step by step instruction you may be better off asking in a FFMPEG specific forum.
