Does anybody know which table in my drupal database actually contains the content of the stories I write for my site?

I can't find it.

Hi,

check out the node and node_revisions tables in the database, that should give you what you're after.
all content (or nodes as drupal calls it) in drupal is in some form stored in the node and node_revisions tables.
