Dupe of #1541792: Enable dynamic allowed list values function with additional context which is a dupe of... something. There's some contributed module doing this and we're not sure which one. Any info you could provide would be appreciated!

hi,

I just also reverted to 7.13 and the errors are gone.
before the error started the only module i installed was Display Suite.
i am getting into it and installed some, like: Views, Admin Menu.

it might help to find the cause.

In my case it stems from Search API (7.x-1.0) creating a field definition for any taxonomy term list field:

search_api_views/search_api_views.inc _search_api_views_add_handlers:137

137: if ($options = $wrapper->optionsList('view')) {

when $wrapper->itemType = "taxonomy_term" and $wrapper->type = "list<taxonomy_term>"

This calls "entity_metadata_field_options_list" which invokes "taxonomy_options_list" with an argument array that has only one element.

I reverted to 7.13, which still includes the security fixes to 7.12. Of course this doesn't fix the issue going forward, but as a temporary solution it fit my needs.

Drupal 7.12

function hook_options_list($field, $instance = NULL) {
...
}

function taxonomy_options_list($field) {
...
}

Drupal 7.14

function hook_options_list($field, $instance, $entity_type, $entity) {
...
}

function taxonomy_options_list($field, $instance, $entity_type, $entity) {
...
}

Reverting the taxonomy_options_list function declaration back to the Drupal 7.12 version has rid me of the warnings without any apparent side effects. This function only uses the $field parameter.

well, search api depends on entity api, and this has been fixed in the entity api

if you still get these errors....they could be from any module using taxonomy_options_list. for example multiselect (has been fixed here already).
so this error is NOT caused by search api.
