How you install this?

I uploaded everything to my server, went to install.php and got an error, after searching here I found I got to change nodestream.profile because the path in the include is wrong. After doing this I finally got the installation page but when I choose the nodestream profile I get:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /includes/file.inc on line 966

If I choose Drupal it goes to the next page. I downloaded 6.x-1.5, so not an alpha but seems it just doesn't install.

Downloaded the latest alpha and this one seems to work.
Not a fan of using software in alpha state but seems less buggy than the release versions.
