I was using as the title field in the block configuration to display a nodeblock without any title. Since upgrading CTools from 1.0-beta1 to 1.0, the title of the block node is being displayed rather than the title from the block configuration.

I can't seem to reproduce this problem. Please report back if you still have the problem but then with more information.
