I am probably missing something real obvious but is there known, working, integration with latest versions Acquia Commons and OG Mailinglist?
Seems like a natural module for inclusion in the distro in fact
thanks

kyle_mathews commentedI haven't ever used OGM personally with Commons but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. OGM only needs Organic Groups to work correctly.

jsibley commentedI have outbound working with Commons. Inbound isn't working yet, but that may have nothing to do with Commons. I will keep you posted.

spencerfromsc commentedI would suggest that you encourage the good folks over at Acquia to consider integrating this module during development of the D7 version of Commons. I agree with you that it seems like a natural fit.

jsibley commentedAre you thinking only about outgoing emails or also incoming emails?
If the integration also included incoming emails, wouldn't there also need to be a decision of which platform(s) to support (mailgun, postfix, etc)?
jsibley commentedInbound emails are also working for me now. One has to remember to include og_mailinglist as a public path on the Commons configuration page if then site is private.
So far, the only issues I see are that I will have to pay Mailgun when there is more volume (although the cost seems reasonable) and I am getting things like "promote group" at the bottom of emails if I create a discussion as administrator.
