I've been using TAC for a while without problems, but suddenly the edit tab is not appearing for nodes that authenticated users can edit.

I have a category called "Auth. User Editable", and under the category permissions for the Authenticated User I have selected View, Update and List.

I have turned off View for uncategorised nodes.

The View and List settings have the correct effects. When 'View' is turned off, nodes with this category cannot be accessed. When it is on they can. 'List' adds the category name to the top of the node page as expected. So at least, these two settings work.

But, under no configuration can I make the edit tab appear. There are no conflicting roles or categories, everything seems to be set up right, but the nodes will not become editable.

Has anyone had this before?

Thanks,
Chris

Please, read troubleshoot section of readme.txt.

Especially section no.4.: in devel node access: Check if user have 'Update' permission for specific node.

Ah, drat, it was the the filter settings. The guy i was testing with kept setting the filter type to full HTML and I didn't notice, so each time we tested a new page it would abruptly stop being editable.

Thanks for pointing that out to me!
