Firstly, thanks for a great module!
At the moment, it displays OK, but it used the background colour from my theme. If displyed on Garland, for example, on the left sidebar near the top, it looks bad because it needs a transparent background. Is is possible to make the image menu use a transparent background?

pobster commentedTBH with you, I'm disappointed with the module - it was a little rushed as I had a deadline on it and I'd rather have gone about it a different way. Still it does what the brief said it should do... It was kind of created for one particular purpose then 'ugly hacked' to provide certain functionality and then 'ugly hacked' even more to make a generic 'public' release. I consider that it needs a complete rewrite really to clean it up but I simply don't have the time or the inclination to do it (I don't even use it!)
As for your query, I'm a little confused? Imagemenu doesn't create your images, so it's not responsible for making them transparent. Just create them as something which is capable of being transparent and that'll be fine? Note that jpg doesn't support transparency as far as I can remember.

rpadua commentedtry to save them as .png, deleting the background layer in photoshop.
